A guide before your first visit - what to pack and how to exercise on trampolines

Trampoline parks appeared in Poland a good few years ago and are still gaining in popularity. They are places designed for learning sports such as, sports acrobatics, parkour or tricking, but also for fun and recreation. Whatever your reason for going to a trampoline park, it is worth knowing how to prepare for your first visit. That is, what to bring with you and how to prepare your body for the exercise on the trampolines.

What to pack?

Sportswear, of course. In the arenas of trampoline parks there are pools with sponges, which are definitely easier to get out of in clothes that are close to your body. You then get rid of the uncomfortable feeling of the fabric twisting. It is important that the outfit is as comfortable as possible for you and does not restrict your movements. And water, of course! During one hour of jumping on trampolines you burn up to 1,000 kcal, so it's quite a workout.

Non-slip socks for trampolines.

Some may be surprised, but yes. Non-slip socks are not just for toddlers learning to walk. Trampoline socks are actually the most important part of your outfit, without them you won't be allowed into the trampoline park arena. They provide traction and prevent you from slipping on the trampoline while jumping. You will purchase such socks before entering the park at the reception. Their cost is approximately PLN 5.

Warm-up.

By far the most important. Starting to jump on a trampoline without a warm-up is a bit like someone telling you to drive out into the middle of town at rush hour during your first driving lesson. Well, it's not going to end well. The warm-up is BASIC. It's where you warm up all your muscles and prepare your body for exercise. If you don't know where to start, you don't have to worry. In our trampoline park, the warm-up is conducted by experienced staff and the exercises are specifically tailored for this particular type of exercise. During the warm-up, you will also learn how to use the trampoline and what behaviour to avoid.

Key rules for trampoline parks.

That is, how to jump on a trampoline and what are the main rules at trampoline parks that you need to know. First of all, only one person can jump on a trampoline and never jump on an occupied trampoline. Always jump in the middle of the trampoline, landing on both feet. No running is allowed throughout the hall. It is very important to look out for others, especially those smaller than yourself. If you want to learn new tricks or are unsure how an attraction works, ask a coach or animator for help. Never jump into a sponge pool or air cushion on your head. Before using an attraction, read the rules and regulations next to it or ask the staff.
Remember that you are the one who has the greatest influence on your safety. Follow the rules and follow the instructions of the staff and the fun will be unforgettable and, above all, safe.

Every trampoline park has different rules and it is worth bearing this in mind when planning your visit. Some places also have age restrictions, so read the rules before you go, or call and ask about issues that are not clear to you. Have fun!
